What do you mean by Manly Man?
Being a Manly Man is not about being a man that is ripped with muscle from head to toe while wielding an ax and cutting down trees for a living! A Manly Man is more about the inner strength that a man possesses than physical strength.
What makes this men's conference different than the others?
We understand the mindset that, “once you've attended one men's conference, you/ve been to them all!” We are aware of this and have designed this event with the purpose of creating an atmosphere where a man can come and not have to worry about awkward emotional breakout sessions or sessions geared towards telling them how they are failing in their role as a man.
We are going to tackle some of the cultural myths concerning what a man looks like, feels like and acts like in today's society. Our approach will be comedic, yet hard hitting, all in a way that will empower men to stand up and become that man that God sees in all of us. This is about validation not condemnation! We want men of all ages to walk away from this conference with a self awareness of who God has called them to be!
What's up with the evolution graphic?
This conference is not about being pro-evolution, yet there are many men who continue to act like animals. We are encouraging men to evolve and become that MAN of God that he has called them to be.
I want to bring my son, what is the age cutoff?
We want this to be an opportunity for fathers to connect with their sons. This is a great opportunity for adolescent males to be in a group of men where they can be encouraged to grow up into responsible young men of God. Dads, bring your boys! This is going to be a celebration of maleness!
